Bryce Canyon

Hey Everybody! At this very exact second, I'm in Bryce Canyon. I don't know how many of you have been here  (there?) but it's pretty awe inspiring, with all of the hoodoos and such. We hiked around all morning, then went to the Lodge when it started to rain (one reason you don't want to hike). If you ever go there, I recommend the Club Sandwich- Just kidding. Anyway, tonight we're going to the Bar G Wranglers show & dinner, at Ebenezer's Barn and Grill. . . I don't know if that sounds like a hillbilly fest to you, but it kind of does to me. . . I hope the food's good!
Sorry I haven't updated in like. . . two months? I've been gone a lot-- We went to Zion in June, and I have to say, it is just as amazing as Bryce. My favorite hike is the Emerald Pools. . . or something like that. It's two miles (or around that, I think), but if you do it, you have to do the Upper Pond. It's almost never busy, and it is BREATHTAKING. It is so worth all the up-hill hiking!
I went to my grandparent's ranch in the beginning of July, and it was awesome. My mom made me drive 24/7, because I only have 6 months left 'till I get my permit. Eek! I did okay, but I don't know how much you can learn when the speed limit is like. . . 10mph. We also went boating a lot. . . well, if you consider paddling out in a little tin fishing boat in a teeny tiny lake-- no, pond-- boating. But I thought it was fun. Especially when you threw fish food. My aunt and uncle regularly feed the fish, so it's like they're trained to jump out of the water to catch it. It's way cool, it looks like the water's boiling. We also forwheelered  (that's a word, right. . .?) a few times. We only have two up there, but it was fun anyway.
Other than that, I just kind of hung out at home and tried to live through the heat-- you know what it's like in St. George. Miserable. My dad and uncle were in the Heatstroker baseball tournament, and they didn't do especially well, but it was fun staying up to midnight to watch him loose (no sarcasm there). I'm hoping to squeeze in more shopping for school- this'll be my first year in public school for a while now, and non-uniform clothes are kind of short in my closet.
So, if that doesn't sum it up for you, I don't know what will. Hopefully I'll be posting soon. . .
